- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. molasses
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sour milk
- 1/2 c. nutmeats
- 1/2 c. raisins
Directions

1Mix butter or margarine with sugar.

2Add beaten eggs and molasses.

3Mix sifted dry ingredients with sour milk.

4Add nutmeats and raisins.

5Put in covered bowl in refrigerator or bake immediately.

6Bake as much as needed at one time in greased and floured pan at 350°.

7Will keep 2 weeks, refrigerated.
