Ingredients

  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Mix Crisco and sugar.

    Pour on boiling water and cool to lukewarm.

    Mix yeast and cold water.

    Add to other mix.

    Add eggs and beat.

    Add salt to flour.

    Stir all together in a dough.

    Work into a firm lump.

    Put into a greased, large mixing bowl and cover tightly.

    Let rise in refrigerator.

    Make rolls and let rise about an hour or time needed.

    Bake at 350° until brown.

    Dough will keep several days in refrigerator or may be used at once.
