Ingredients
- 4 level c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- lard (size of egg) to equal 1/2 c.
- 1 egg (unbeaten)
- 1 yeast cake
- 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water (must not be hot water). Sift flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.

2Add lump of lard and whole egg.

3Mix together with the yeast water.

4Do not beat.

5Put in a greased pan.

6Cover with oil paper and slide into refrigerator.

7Make out rolls about 2 hours or 2 1/2 hours before needed.

8Cook in oven at 400° for about 25 minutes.
