  • 1 c. instant mashed potatoes
  • 1 pkg. cake yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. hot milk
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 5 c. flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in water; add milk, potatoes and Crisco.

    Add eggs; mix.

    Add sugar, salt and 4 cups flour, using 1 cup flour to knead dough.

    Place in greased bowl; cover and refrigerate.

    Shape into rolls; let rise.

    Bake for 15 to 25 minutes at 400°.
