- 3/4 c. lard
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 cakes Fleischmann's yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 7 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Melt lard in boiling water.

2Add 1 cup cold water.

3Add yeast. Add eggs, sugar and salt.

4Add flour.

5Put in greased bowl and let stand overnight in the icebox.

6Put on greased and floured cookie sheet in small rolls and let raise 2 1/2 hours.

7Bake in 400° oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
