Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in one cup of lukewarm water.

2Add 1 teaspoon sugar and let stand until foamy.

3Beat eggs.

4Add to the yeast mixture.

5Then add shortening, melted and cooled.

6Combine, then add 1 cup hot water, salt and sugar.

7Stir in 6 cups flour.

8Grease the top and cover with a tea towel.

9Chill overnight.

10Knead, adding small amount of flour, to make an elastic dough.

11Shape into rolls and place on a greased sheet.
-
12Let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.

13Bake at 400° for about 12 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
