- 1 1/3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. sugar, divided
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Prepare oven to 350°.

2Combine 1 1/3 cups sifted flour, 1/4 cup sugar and butter in bowl.

3Blend until dough forms a ball.

4Pat into ungreased 9-inch square baking pan.

5Bake 15 minutes.

6Combine eggs, remaining 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, lemon peel and lemon juice in bowl; blend well.

7Pour over partially baked crust. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until filling is set.

8Sift confectioners sugar over top.

9Cool in pan on wire rack.

10Cut into bars.
