- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 c. milk or buttermilk
- 1 heaping Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Mix well.

2Should be a medium texture, not runny.

3Pour onto floured surface.

4Sprinkle flour over top of dough and pull flour around biscuit dough, then flip and pat down to 1/2-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter and place onto greased cookie sheet. Grease tops.

5Place into preheated oven at 450° for 15 to 20 minutes.

6Brown bottoms, then put on top shelf and brown top about 5 to 10 minutes until done.

7Serve hot.
