- 1 large (27 oz.) can green chile strips
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese in strips
- 12 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Wash chiles and remove seeds.

2Wrap chile strips around cheese strips.

3Place side by side in a shallow 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Beat eggs with salt, then add milk and mix well.

4Pour over stuffed chilies.

5Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in a 350° oven.

6Do not overbake since it toughens the protein in both eggs and cheese.

7Serves 6 to 8.
