  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • oil, I use peanut oil (for frying)

Directions

    Combine dry ingred.

    Add milk.

    Mix well to form a dough.

    Pat out on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thick.

    Cut into 2x2 or 3x4 inch squares.

    Fry in hot oil, about 350°F.

    Brown lightly on both sides.

    Serve warm.
