- 1 large loaf French bread
- 3 c. sliced fresh plums
- 1 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. sliced fresh peaches
Directions

1Trim crust from bread; cut into 1/2-inch slices.

2Line a 1 1/2-quart round bowl with bread, pressing firmly with fingers. Cook plums with 1 cup sugar and cinnamon, stirring constantly until plums are soft, about 10 minutes.

3Cook peaches with 2/3 cup sugar, about 10 minutes.

4Layer plums and peaches in bread-lined bowl.

5Cover top with remaining bread slices.

6Place a flat plate with a heavy weight on top.

7Refrigerate overnight. Unmold and serve with whipped cream (Cool-Whip).
