- 1 qt. scalded milk
- 5 Tbsp. corn meal
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 c. molasses
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon or 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
Directions

1Add corn meal gradually to scalded milk and cook in double boiler (stirring constantly) and cool 20 minutes.

2Add oleo, molasses, seasonings and eggs.

3Turn into buttered baking dish. Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

4Makes 8 servings.
