- 2/3 c. cornmeal
- 4 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Scald 3 1/2 cups milk over direct heat.

2Mix cornmeal with remaining cup milk.

3Add to scalded milk, stirring constantly. Place over boiling water (use double boiler) and cook 20 minutes, stirring frequently.

4Add margarine, molasses, salt, sugar and cinnamon.

5Pour into greased baking dish (1 1/2-quart size).

6Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.

7Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
