- 1 qt. milk, scalded
- 5 Tbsp. cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. molasses
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Gradually add cornmeal to scalded milk, stirring constantly and continue to cook in double boiler for 20 minutes.

2Add all the other ingredients and turn into buttered baking dish.

3Pour 1 cup cold milk over top.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

5Serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
