- 3 lb. cabbage, grated
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. Wesson oil
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 1 large bell pepper, chopped
- 2 carrots, grated
Directions

1Mix the cabbage, carrots, onions and peppers together.

2Take out 1 tablespoon sugar, then sprinkle rest over cabbage mixture. Bring oil, vinegar, celery seed, salt and the 1 tablespoon of sugar to a rapid boil and pour over the cabbage.

3Refrigerate for 9 days.
