   Beat

   yolks and whites of eggs separately.

   Add 1/2 cup sugar to yolks

   beating. Add 1/4 cup sugar to whites after they have been beaten very stiff.

   Mix whites and yolks gently together.

   Add whipping cream and half and half.

   Stir thoroughly. Serve

   very cold with dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle of nutmeg.
