  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) stewed tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

    In a skillet, brown beef; drain.

    Transfer to a greased 2-quart casserole.

    Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
