  • 1 Inside Round Roast Beef (eye of the round)

    Preheat oven 500F for 20 to 30 min.

    Place aluminum foil on surface pan.

    Mix the spices together and rub or pat the spices around the roast.

    Place meat on rack or pan.
  5. 5
    Surround chop onion around roast.

    Place few onion strip on top of roast.

    When putting the pan inside the oven, turn down the heat to 450F.

    Cook for 7min for each pound.

    The high heat will sear the outside roast.

    (Prefer less pink, turn down the heat to 350F, maybe for 30 min, after searing 450F).

    Turn heat off and leave the roast inside the oven for 2hr 30 min, DO NOT OPEN OVEN.

    (For less pink 2hrs).The heat from inside the oven will slowly cook the roast.
