- 1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 pkg. (8) small shortcakes
Directions

1Melt butter in a skillet.

2Add pineapple and sugar, stirring until sugar melts.

3Dip one side of each shortcake into mixture. Place each on plate, coated side up.
