- 2 blocks Firm tofu (1 block = 400 g)
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 Egg
- 400 ml Dried panko
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp Soup stock granules
- 1 Salt
- 1 White or black pepper
- 2 tsp Garlic powder (optional)
- 1 Ketchup
- 1 Mustard
Directions

1Drain the tofu very well.

2One 400 g block will become about 250 g to 300 g.

3Put the onion in the bowl of a food processor and switch on!

4When it's chopped up add all the other ingredients and turn on the switch!

5Taste and adjust the seasoning.

6When the mixture turns into a paste, adjust the texture.

7Add panko if it's too soft, and add a bit of water if it's too stiff.

8It should be about the consistency of uncooked hamburger.

9Divide into bite-sized portions.

10Form the portioned paste into oval shaped patties, deep fry in oil and they are done.

11If you press the back of a fork into them before frying they'll look like chicken nuggets.

12This is after I've portioned the paste from Step 3 with a small ice cream scooper into bite-sized pieces.

13I deep fried them at 180C.
