- 2 pkg. frozen, petit peas (tiny size)
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. celery, cut Chinese style
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- water chestnuts, sliced
- almonds, slivered
Directions

1Boil peas, water, celery and bouillon cubes together for 4 or 5 minutes.

2Make a paste of the cornstarch and 1/2 cup of water. Add to hot vegetable mixture.

3Cook until thickened.

4Just before serving, add sliced water chestnuts and slivered almonds to suit taste.

5Serves 6 to 8.
