  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. liquid oil
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Boil raisins for 3 minutes; strain.

    Sprinkle with a little flour and set aside.

    Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, oil, milk and eggs.

    Fold in raisins.

    Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans.

    Bake at 350° in oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
