  • 1 1/4 cups dark beer
  • 1 13/16 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 7/8 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups rye flour
  • 1 teaspoon yeast dry organic

Directions

    Place the ingredients, in the order listed, in the pan of a bread machine.

    Select the dough program.

    When the cycle is finished, place the dough on a floured surface and shape into a ball.

    Brush with water and sprinkle with rye flour.

    Place in a greased loaf pan. Cover with a clean cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    Make a few cuts in the dough with a knife and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
