Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 Tbsp. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. grated raw potato, drained
- 2 lb. boiled potatoes, diced and cooled
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions

1Heat fat in frying pan.

2Add onion and saute until golden brown.

3Add grated potatoes.

4Cook until mixture forms a paste. Let cool.

5Add potatoes, salt, flour and eggs.

6Stir until smooth. Form into balls the size of a walnut.

7Drop into boiling salted water.

8Cook until dumplings rise to the top and are cooked through center, about 15 minutes.

9Drain.
