  • 3 to 4 lb. corned beef brisket
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 6 ears corn
  • 12 medium size white Irish potatoes

Directions

    Put brisket in a 12-quart stockpot and fill with water.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 4 1/2 hours until tender.

    Cut cabbage into quarters and add to brisket.

    Add potatoes and cook for about 30 minutes.

    Add corn and cook 15 minutes.
