Ingredients

  • 2 sm. onions, cut into rings
  • 3 md. carrots, cubed
  • 2 turnips, cubed
  • 2 stalks celery, cut in rings
  • 1 sm. cabbage, chopped
  • 1-3/4 lb. lamb shoulder, cut into 3 cm. pieces
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 4 sm. potatoes, cubed
  • 1/2 tbsp. majoram, chopped

Directions

    Put lamb into pot and cover with water.
  2. 2
    Season with salt and pepper and cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  3. 3
    Add the vegetables, garlic and potatoes and simmer another 25-30 minutes covered.

    Season with majoram and serve.
