- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 eggs (separated), beat egg whites and set aside
Directions

1Mix flour and baking powder and set aside.

2Cream sugar and butter.

3Add yolks and beat until fluffy.

4Mix flour with sugar mixture and milk alternately.

5Add vanilla and fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
