  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 egg and enough milk to make stiff dough
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda or 2 tsp. baking powder

Directions

    Rub margarine into flour.

    Add sugar and raisins.

    Beat egg and milk; add to mixture and knead into a stiff dough.

    Roll out and cut into rings.

    Bake in moderate 350° oven for 30 minutes.
