- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Add baking powder, soda and salt to flour, then sift into a bowl. Add raisins to mixture.

2Mix beaten eggs, melted butter and buttermilk to mixture and mix.

3Grease and flour a baking pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Check with knife.

4If it comes out clean, the loaf is done. Remove from oven and apply a small amount of butter to top of loaf to soften crust. Wrap in foil to keep fresh.
