  • 2 lb. stewing lamb
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 c. sliced onion
  • 6 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1 c. diced carrots
  • 1 c. cubed turnip
  • 1 c. cubed potato
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

    Cut meat into small pieces; coat with flour and brown in butter in fryer.
