- 1 pound lamb cut into cubes
- 1/2 pound onions peeled and cut into wedges
- 1 clove garlic peeled and finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 cups stock instant
- 2 pounds cabbage quartered, and stalk removed
- 1/4 pound celery washed and chopped
- 1/2 pound carrots cut into slices
- 1 pound potatoes cut into slices
- white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 bunch parsley washed and chopped finely
Directions

1Heat the oil in a large frying pan and brown the meat on all sides. Add the onions and garlic and saute with the meat. Add the stock and cook for 2 hours. In the meantime, wash the cabbage and cut into strips.

2About 30 minutes before the end of cooking, add the vegetables, cumin, salt and pepper. Before serving, season to taste and garnish with parsley.
