- 4 to 6 lb. beef roast (rump is best)
- dash of oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. caraway seed
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook for 3 hours.

2Take meat out; add 3 cups water and 3 green peppers, sliced.

3Slice meat thin; add to juices and peppers and cook for 30 minutes more.

4Serve on French bread or beef buns.

5(I serve this as a main meal dish and use leftovers for sandwiches.)
