- 4 lb. top round roast
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- cornstarch
Directions

1Place meat in roasting pan.

2Combine all other ingredients. Heat and pour over meat.

3Cover, bake at 350° for 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until tender.

4Turn often to baste.

5Cool.

6Remove from meat juice, slice meat very thin.

7Add cornstarch to meat juice to make thin gravy.

8Return meat to gravy, keep warm.

9Serve on split hard rolls.
