Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp. fennel seed
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. anise seed
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Accent leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Accent
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 2 oz. tomato paste

Directions

    Add 2 1/2 quarts water (10 cups).

    Stir in all ingredients. Place 5 to 10 pound beef roast in oven at 350° for 1 hour.

    Reduce heat to 300° for 3 hours, without lid.

    Cook day before. Refrigerate.

    Next day drain off spices and slice.

    Put drained gravy over sliced beef and reheat when needed.
