Ingredients
- 5 to 7 lb. beef roast
- 3 to 4 c. water
- 3 to 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 or 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. thyme
- salt and pepper
- 4 to 6 green peppers
Directions

1Cook meat with seasonings except salt and pepper in Dutch oven.

2Bring to a boil, then cook on low heat 3 to 4 hours until done.

3Add salt and pepper to taste during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

4Place sliced green peppers on top of beef and steam until tender.

5Remove meat from broth and cool.

6Slice beef thin and return to broth.

7Serve on Italian bread.
