- 5 to 7 lb. beef roast
- 2 to 3 c. water
- 3 bouillon or 1 Tbsp. instant bouillon
- 1 tsp. marjoram
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
Directions

1Roast beef at 325°, uncovered, until rare.

2Cool and slice thinly.

3To pan drippings, add rest of ingredients and simmer 15 minutes.

4Add sliced beef and simmer for 5 hours.

5Serve on buns or sliced French bread.
