Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. round steak
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 c. beef broth
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. raw rice
- 3 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 lb. cabbage, diced
- grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Thinly slice the steak.

2Heat oil in Dutch oven.

3Add onion and garlic; remove and brown beef well.

4Add the beef broth, tomatoes and seasonings and bring to a boil.

5Simmer 1 hour.

6Add rice and cook 20 minutes.

7Then add the cabbage and cook 15 more minutes.

8Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
