- 1 (16 ounce) package lasagna noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 12-2 lbs ground beef
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 34 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 (1 quart) can whole tomato
- 1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb monterey jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- 1 tablespoon basil
Directions

1Cook lasagne noodles according package instructions.

2While cooking noodles, brown the hamburger with onion and garlic in the oil.

3Drain fat.

4Add sugar, pepper, salt, tomatoes and tomato sauce.

5Simmer for 10 minutes.

6Slice both lbs of cheese.

7Mix oregano and basil together in a separate bowl.

8In a 9x13-inch dish layer noodles, cheese, sauce, and then spices.

9Repeat for 2 or 3 layers.

10Bake at 375 for 1/2 hour.

11You can freeze lasagne and cook for one hour.
