- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 pkg. Sauers spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 small carton cottage cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 large onion
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 8 or 9 noodles, cut in 1/2 if necessary to fit dish
- 2 or 3 oz. Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown meat and onion in large deep frypan.

2Add mushrooms also. Cook noodles as directed in boiler.

3Drain fat off meat mixture. Return meat mixture to heat.

4Add tomato sauce, tomatoes and spaghetti sauce.

5Cook and stir ingredients 5 or 10 minutes.

6Drain water off noodles.

7Layer ingredients:

8noodles, meat mixture, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.

9Repeat if necessary.

10Top with Parmesan cheese.

11Cook at 325° for 30 minutes.

12Allow to cool some and cut in squares.

13Serve with salad and rolls.
