- 1/4 onion, sliced thinly
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano

1Boil string beans 4-5 minutes, cooked but still a crisp bite. Steaming a great option as well. Cool under cold water to stop cooking. Place in serving bowl. Mix dressing ingredients then toss with string beans. Best served room temperature. Making ahead will increase the flavors.
