  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 3 c. tomato juice
  • 4 oz. thin raw spaghetti, broken into thirds

    In skillet, brown beef and onions; drain grease off.

    Return to skillet. Reduce temperature.

    Add thyme, oregano, salt, pepper and dry mustard.

    Mix in browned beef.

    Pour tomato juice over mixture.

    Add broken spaghetti.

    Press spaghetti into mixture until it is covered with juice.

    Cover skillet and simmer for 30 minutes.
