- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 qt. freezer bag fruit (peaches, apricots or boysenberries) or canned fruit
Directions

1Melt butter in sheet cake baking pan.

2If using frozen fruit, cook slowly for 30 minutes with 1 cup sugar.

3After cooking, you should have 1/2 to 1 cup juice.

4Do not drain.

5Pour fruit and juice over butter in pan.

6Mix sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk to make batter.

7Pour over fruit.

8Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar before baking.

9Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until slightly brown on top and cobbler mixture is firm.
