- 4 Tbsp. Crisco
- 18 young carrots
- 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk (add last)
Directions

1Wash and scrape carrots; cut lengthwise into thin strips.

2Put Crisco in frying pan; add everything but milk.

3Cover pan; let simmer until tender, about 20 minutes.

4Turn frequently with spoon.

5Drain off excess Crisco; pour milk into pan and stir well. Let get hot and serve immediately.
