- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. cream style corn
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 lg. eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 3 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease bottom of 9 inch round cake pan with 1 tablespoon butter.

2Set aside.

3Combine remaining melted butter, corn, sour cream and eggs in large bowl.

4Corn meal, stirring until moistened.

5Stir in cheese and chopped peppers.

6Pour batter into prepared pan.

7Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden.
