  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1lb. sweet italian sausage,casings removed,meat crumbled
  • 3c. chopped onion
  • 3c. chopped celery
  • 1/2c. minced seeded jalapenos
  • 2Tbls. minced garlic
  • 2Tbls. chili powder
  • 4tsp. ground cumin
  • 2c. pecans,toasted and chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
