  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. cloves
  • 1 c. jam
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. dates
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves together. Mix remaining ingredients together in separate bowl. Slowly add flour mixture. Bake in three 9-inch round cake pans at 350° until done. Ice with Caramel Icing.
