  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup nuts, ground
  • 1 cup raisins, ground
  • 1 cup jam
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 13 cup orange juice
  • 1 small coconut, ground
  • 1 cup raisins, ground
  • 1 cup nuts, ground

Directions

    Cream together butter, sugar, and add eggs.

    Sift together spices and flour.

    Mix buttermilk and baking soda.

    Add flour and liquid alternately.

    Fold in jam, raisins and nuts.

    Bake in 4 layers at 350 degrees F for 30 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of each layer comes out clean.
