- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) box raisins
- 1 (8 oz.) jar jam
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. allspice
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar, alternate flour and buttermilk.

2Add eggs, soda, spices and cocoa.

4Fold in raisins and nuts. Bake in layer pans at 350° for 35 minutes.
