  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. jam
  • 6 egg yolks (save whites)
  • 1/2 c. ground coconut (fresh)
  • 6 oz. ground raisins
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. soda
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 c. ground nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar. Add jam, then eggs, milk and flour. Mix by hand and add other ingredients. Mix and bake in 4 greased and floured pans and bake at 375° until done. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then cool on racks.
