- 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
- 1/4 c. butter (1 stick)
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. milk
- 12 oz. preserves (apricot or pineapple)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Cream together the cream cheese, butter and sugar.

3Beat in eggs, one at a time.

4Add vanilla.

5Sift together and add alternately, dry ingredients with milk.

6In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, spread 1/2 the batter in pan.

7Cover with preserves; top with more batter.

8Bake for 45 minutes.
